Without being completely cliche and lame, I thought that in the spirit of Thanksgiving I’d share something I’m particularly thankful for this year.
This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for this community and for you.
You’re the friend that reads the words I write and comments that you thought you were the only one that felt the way I did.
You’re the friend whose words I read and nod along with every single word like you read my mind.
You’re the friend that really gets me.
You’re the friend I can send a quick “something’s not right” email to and know that it’s going to someone who really, truly knows what’s going through my head and heart.
You’re the friend that reads that message and responds with your phone number telling me to call if I need anything.
You’re the friend I can vent to via google chat about how crazy my workday has been.
You’re the friend that reassures me everything will be OK.
You’re the friend that raises her glass and says “cheers!” when I mention how badly I need a glass of wine after the day I’ve had.
You’re the friend that completely understands where I’m coming from when I say I can’t wait to go back to work on Monday.
You’re the friend I can send a “which sweater should I wear with this skirt” photo to.
You’re encouraging and supportive and uplifting and comforting. You tell it like it is.
For these things and for so much more, I am thankful.

That is SO sweet! I am thankful for you too! I was just thinking about this very thing. I wish I had found blogging sooner, but I’m so THANKFUL I did!

You know? I was JUST thinking this the other day (again- out of my head lady!) and thought how doing this NaBloPoMo thing has been a challenge but how awesome of a challenge cause I really reached out & grabbed hold of this little community of friends. How rewarding it’s been for me.
I love all these things you’ve mentioned above. I love the feeling like I have legitimately made friends I can count on. It makes me feel…peaceful.
So I’m thankful for YOU, right back friend.
