Working With Style {No Jeans Edition}

If you’ve been following along with any of the style posts I’ve been doing over on my personal blog, you’ll note that I wear jeans…a lot. As in, probably 90% of the time, I’m in jeans. I try to keep it fresh/mix it up, but I’ll be honest, I get sick of wearing jeans day in and day out but where I work, slacks are kind of ridiculous.

Anyway, this outfit is a mish-mash of different pieces that I randomly decided to put together. I’ve never worn this outfit before and I’ll be honest…it’s kind of out of my comfort zone…but I really kind of love it too.

As with most of my clothes, this outfit is a mix from my two favorite stores…

Dress, Sweater & Tights // Ann Taylor LOFT
Scarf & Boots // Target

P.S. Please excuse my awkward hands…anyone else wonder what the heck they’re supposed to do with their hands when taking pics for these style posts?

    And yes, the hands…I find myself with like 4 outtakes of these pictures. Looking at them going “What the what is happening here? Hands, floating everywhere.”

    This exactly is my daily outfit. Every, single day – a mixture of tights/leggings, boots, dress, cardigan and scarf. :)

    I love this out fit and the boot!
    I have huge calves and have a hard time finding cute boots but I love seeing all the cute things people wear them with.
    And I too, struggle with hands in my pictures – they are usually on the hips.
